Questions people ask
before getting in touch.
If yours isn't here, please just ask — I'm happy to answer.
Do I need a referral from a doctor or SLT?
No — a referral isn't required. Many clients self-refer. If you're already working with a clinical team, I'm happy to coordinate with them (with your consent).
Do you work with children?
My primary focus is adult voice. I occasionally take on older teenagers case-by-case — please get in touch to discuss.
Online vs in-person — what's the difference?
Both work well. Online suits most voice rehab work and is flexible around busy schedules. In-person can be more useful when hands-on release or group work is needed.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Many people feel meaningful shifts within a few sessions; longer programmes (8–12) suit deeper rehab or post-op recovery. We'll agree a realistic plan together.
Do you work alongside my clinical team?
Yes — I regularly coordinate with SLTs, ENT consultants, and GPs. Clear communication and shared goals are central to how I work.
What does a first session look like?
We'll start with your story — what your voice is doing, what you want it to do, and what's in the way. A gentle assessment, a few targeted exercises, and a clear plan for next steps.
Still have questions?
The easiest way to get a real answer is to ask. I reply personally within a couple of days.
