Doctorate in Music Education from the Institute of Education, University of London. Full-time lecturer at MTU Cork School of Music, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in voice, vocal pedagogy, research methods, and popular music history.

Director of The Academy of Popular Music. Contributor to CoreSinging: A Joyful Approach to Singing and Voice Pedagogy (Dayme et al.). Serves on editorial and peer-review boards for international academic journals in music education and voice research.

Active performer and choir director. Programmes span classical, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary popular music.
